i may have mentioned this before but i love the shadows that the side lights throw on a freshly shaped blank. this is my first attempt at a 'bonzer' bottom. this is a 6'0'' speed egg for those summer waves on the right coast...

if you havent read any of alan weisbeckers books i cant recommend them strongly enough. i always say that one day i'm going to disappear into central america and sleep in hammock and surf all day but who knows if i will actually have the courage to follow through

inspired by a video i saw of derek hynd doing 360's spins on the face of wave and it looked like so much fun... i have no idea if this will work or not but it was fun to shape (but probably not fun to glass) and hopefully even more fun to ride. will letcha know
